STORAGE HINTS
The drier your logs are the better they will burn.
If you are storing your firewood in a shed or a garage it is important to let air circulate around the logs, open a window or door occasionally.
Small gaps between the logs allow the air to circulate.
It's a good idea to bring some logs indoors before you're ready to use them, keep one basket of logs by the fire or stove and the next basket drying indoors for a few days - somewhere like a utility room is ideal.
If you're storing your logs outside stack them with the bark side down and stack the top layer with the bark side up, this will act as a 'roof' so that the logs underneath won't get too wet.
